Official letters have been published indicating the intention to hold the General Congress of the Veterinarians Syndicate in the Kurdistan Region / Erbil.A letter signed by the Chairman (Sheikh Latif Mahmoud) was issued on 4/25/2023 according to which the congress preparation committee was formed, consisting of (Dr. Sherzad Othman, Dr. Heyman Adnan, Dr. Awat Hassan). This committee also issued its first decision on 9/5/2023 regarding setting a date for holding the qualifying elections for the General Congress. The congress is expected to take place within a month. This congress is a late one as it was supposed to take place twenty years ago. But there were subjective and other objective reasons that prevented this.
