Nahrain veterinary network website, the first website established in Iraq to be published mainly in Arabic with abstracts when needed in Kurdish and English. It was founded by Diyar Tayeb Barwari, an expert veterinarian. The site mainly deals with important matters in the field of medicine, services and the veterinary profession. The site presents news, information, and reports related to animal diseases, food safety, animal care and welfare, wildlife and biodiversity. The Nahrin veterinary website also organizes events and activities that concern the profession and status of veterinarians, and coordinates its work with government institutions and the private sector.
