Recently the World Organization of Animal Health #woah has announced the a 1st #avianinfluenza case was found in a domestic dog in #Canada, which died of clinical signs of the disease after having been in contact with infected goose. The report mentioned that the risk for humans and pets contracting #avianflu from infected animals remains low.
