Application for postgraduate studies started on May 2, 2023 and will remain open until June 1, 2023.The Department of Media and Government Communication at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced that, the Ministry will start electronic application procedures for postgraduate studies (http://adm.rdd.edu.iq) on Tuesday, 2/5/2023, and it will last until 1/6/2023 according to the timing of submission and admission for the academic year 2023/2024.The news, which was published on the Ministry's website, confirmed that the number of open graduate studies programs amounts to (2151) study programs in doctoral, master's and higher diplomas, while university plans for postgraduate studies approved in various disciplines and for all public and private channels of application and concessions include (13305) academic seats. .On the other hand, and in the same regard, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the Kurdistan Regional Government of Iraq, has opened the door for applying to postgraduate studies. Whereas, the Minister of Education, indicated in a press conference that "6 thousand seats are allocated to accept students for postgraduate studies in universities and institutes in the region for the academic year 2022-2023," noting that "this percentage of seats is close to the seats of last year.The ministry indicated on its website that "employees in the Ministry of Higher Education, employees of ministries in the Kurdistan Region, and graduates of universities and institutes in the region can apply for these seats." The allocation of seats is as follows: 1,200 seats for higher diplomas, 3,000 seats for masters, and 1,800 seats for doctorates.
