On, Monday, August 28, 2023, in his official office, , Dr. Mithaq Abdul-Hussein Al-Khafaji, the deputy Technical of the Ministry of Agriculture, headed the Technical meeting of the Committee for the Development of Milk Production in Iraq, in the presence of the Director General of the Department of Livestock, To develop livestock projects, including milk production.The Technical deputy stressed the importance of developing plans and scientific programs that contribute to increasing local production and developing livestock breeding projects. The technical meeting dealt with improving the animal situation and projects for the production of milk and its derivatives by developing a feasibility study and a unit of measurement for projects, as well as developing performance for individual and group breeding for small, medium and large projects in a manner consistent with And the directions of the Iraqi government to serve the economic and animal activity.This is one of the main policy of the Iraqi government to face the market need and to increase the local production.
