It is known that the first line of defense against any disease and specially #AvianInfluenza is the system of early detection and reporting of disease outbreaks to allow better rapid response. Because of #AvianInfluenza capacity to rapidly spread across regions and borders, timely reporting of cases is key to enable any nation to anticipate and get prepared for potential #AvianInfluenza outbreaks. Culling infected animals and the ones in close contact, is the used policy when an infection is detected in poultry, it is an effort for rapidly contain, control and eradicate the disease. The vaccination policy could be part of the overall strategy of protection or decrease of viral contamination of the environment, which includes (Selective elimination of infected poultry, movement restrictions, improved hygiene and biosecurity, and appropriate surveillance).
