The World Health Organization has issued a reference booklet on the policy that the organization is working on in order to reach the goal (a world free of rabies from dogs), as the organization works with other organizations participating in this policy (the Food and Agriculture Organization, the World Organization for Animal Health, the Global Alliance for Control Ali Al-Rabies) to work with local authorities in order to prevent humans from being infected with rabies from dogs.About 50,000 people die annually as a result of rabies, most of them children. Half of these cases occur in Asia. Therefore, the World Health Organization supports all activities that contribute to achieving the general objective of this policy.The organization expects that oral vaccination will have a significant impact on speeding up the task of vaccinating dogs (especially loose dogs) to reach their immunity events and ensure that they are not infected, which will constitute a direct step in order to prevent the disease from reaching humans, and for the world to be disease-free.
